Hey guys! Im new to this whole forum stuff however i am looking to rebuild my engine. I have a 2019 gt2. I have injen intakes, hks black edition BOV, the remodeled coil packs lap3 ecu 1.5 stage with burbles, catless secondaries to mbrp catback and upgraded spark plugs. I also have a jb4 but just for logging purposes. heres the thing though, i had a ticking noise one night while the rpm were increasing, i went into eco mode so the turbos spool faster and nothing changed so i ruled out turbo problems thank god. however... the noise got worse and worse and my engine was bogging down and i havent ran it since. Im thinking I spun a rod bearing but im worried something is wrong with my crankshaft. this engine has 24k miles on it. yes i drive it hard but what would have caused this? I really need some info on how to take out the engine, what mods i should get after i rebuild the engine and what possibilities this issue could be.
